Two elderly men hang themselves

YOGYAKARTA: Two elderly men -- Karso Suwito, 75, and Tirtorejo, 105 -- committed suicide in two separate incidents in Gunung Kidul regency on Thursday night.

Gunung Kidul Police chief of detectives Adj. Comr. S. Priyono confirmed on Friday the death of the two men, saying they were both probably frustrated with the health problems that accompanied their advanced years.

According to Antara, both men died by hanging. Karso died at his home in Sidoharjo village and Tirtorejo in Karangasem village.(04)
