Two die in Cikampek toll road accident

JAKARTA: Two people died instantly, while two others were
seriously injured in an accident at Kilometer 51 on the Jakarta-
Cikampek toll road near East Karawang on Saturday at around 4:20
a.m.

The fatalities were identified as Yudi Herdiyana, 32, and Doni
Indra Ismail, 29. One of the bodies was found inside a Daihatsu
Feroza, which was flipped upside down and burned. Two other
victims -- Yayah and Dewi Puspitasari -- were rushed to Medika
Cikarang Hospital.

Toll road operator PT Jasa Marga said the accident was caused
by the right rear wheel of the Feroza, which fell off when it was
speeding. The driver lost control and the car hit the median
strip before it turned upside down and caught fire. -- Antara
