Two brokers suspended

JAKARTA (JP): The capital market supervisory agency has
suspended two securities firms, PT Gawang Rejeki and PT Buraksa
Perkasa. for breaching Jakarta Stock Exchange trading
regulations.

The head of the agency's legal bureau, I Nyoman Tjager, said
in a letter Friday that the two firms did not have custodian
services, order, trading and marketing divisions to support their
operations.

PT Gawang Rejeki and PT Buraksa Perkasa did not make any
contract with their clients when opening a securities account as
required by capital market regulations.

The letter said the two firms could resume operation if they
improved their office administration. (09)
