TV broadcast not well received

I am an Englishman married to an Indonesian lady living in Cilacap, Central Java.

I am writing to get some information because nobody I know seems to care about television services.

I have a satellite dish and a receiver for my TV which enables me to tune in around 12 channels, but at peak viewing hours especially around 8 p.m. most of the best films or TV series showing on RCTI, SCTV, TV3 (Malaysia) sometimes TPI and more recently ANteve get scrambled or shut down and I can get no picture, only sound.

This happens especially when a program starts around the top of the hour and then comes back for the news. Why is this? Surely the public and subscribers to television deserve an explanation and/or an apology.

If television companies start a new channel they should ensure that the paying public can watch the program of their choice.

Every night at least three channels are shut off, sometimes four, and it is very annoying.
