Tunas enters e-commerce

JAKARTA (JP): PT Tunas Ridean, an authorized dealer for
Toyota, BMW, Daihatsu and several other car brands, said on
Monday its web site, http://www.TunasGroup.com, received about
500 visitors per day despite the fact the site had not yet been
formally launched.

Tunas president John Stevenson said on Monday the site was
launched in November last year to anticipate a surge in Internet-
based transactions in the country.

Given its existing infrastructure and brands, Tunas is in a
good position to increase its sales through electronic deals, he
