Tsunami aid spent for villa?

I read in your April 5 paper an article titled RI denies tsunami aid spent on Geneva villa. What I read in the article truly made me sad. So far I have given the new government of Indonesia the benefit of doubt for the sake of supporting change, even it is in small increments. But this article has truly surprised and disappointed me.

To learn that Indonesia has approved a purchase of a villa at the cost of US$8.1 million (Rp 76 billion) for its ambassador while some teachers in Indonesia earn only Rp 50,000 ($5.30) per month is pure evil.

There is not an excuse in the world that can justify this abuse. I truly wonder if President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono knows about this and has approved it. I hope someone can answer me.
