Try to open information week

JAKARTA: Vice President Try Sutrisno is scheduled to open the
Rural Information Fair (Pependes) in the East Java town of
Pasuruan on Jan. 4, Antara reported.

Information Minister Harmoko disclosed that the five-day fair
would see contests and quiz games among radio listeners,
newspaper readers and television viewers. There will also be
discussions and an exhibition on the topic of information and its
dissemination.

Pasuruan was chosen to host this year's fair because it won
the most titles over the past three years.
