Truant girl dies after doze on train

JAKARTA: Second-year student from junior high school SMP 97 in Utan Kayu, East Jakarta, Irma Setiawan, died after falling off a moving train on Thursday, Tempointeraktif reported on Friday.

According to her five friends, they skipped school to go to an arcade center to play Playstation and caught the Tambun-Jakarta train for Warung Jati train station in East Jakarta.

Irma fell out while standing in the overcrowded train car and fell onto the train tracks. -- JP
