Trisakti to hold construction seminar

Trisakti University will host an international seminar on the construction industry on Jan. 25 and Jan. 26.

The seminar will feature keynote speaker Minister of Public Works Djoko Kirmanto, as well as international speakers such as Nigel Priestley, professor emeritus of structural engineering at the University of California at San Diego, and M. Dhana Sekar, associate professor of structural engineering and director of the Center for Railway Engineering at Central Queensland University in Australia.

Other speakers will include Salil Kumar Roy of Petra University, PT Wijaya Karya director A. Sutjipto, PT Total Bangun Persada director Komajaya and PROSYS Engineers director Budhy Manan.

The experts will discuss various topics related to the construction industry, including structural engineering, management construction, water resources engineering, geotechnical engineering and transportation engineering.

Lecturers, students, researchers, practitioners and businesspeople are invited to attend the seminar in the Grand Ballroom of the Ritz Carlton Hotel in South Jakarta.
