Trisakti to hold art, science and IT conference

Trisakti University of Jakarta is set to host a national conference discussing information technology's contribution to art, the pure sciences and engineering.

Cooperating with the Indonesian Institute of Sciences (LIPI) and the Jakarta administration, the university will organize a range of workshops for the two-day event that begins on Friday.

Items discussed will include the contribution of IT to art patents and copyright, business law, good corporate governance, medicine, public health and environmental protection.

The conference will be used to create materials for the Indonesian delegation headed to the World Summit For An Information Society in Tunisia later this year.
