Trains in Tambun

The recent addition of train services in Greater Jakarta area
has benefited Bekasi but does not include Tambun. Residents of
Tambun can only rely on trains coming from Purwakarta, Cikampek
and Cikarang.

I suggest that one of the trains in Bekasi start from Cikarang
for its journey to Jakarta. An additional late-afternoon train is
also needed to carry passengers from Jakarta via Bekasi to
Cikarang.

I would like to inform Perumka state-owned railway company,
that several fans and doors in the coaches need repairing, and
missing parts of train equipment require replacement.

At Tambun and Cikarang stations, space and seats for waiting
passengers are inadequate. The platforms should be higher to
facilitate easy boarding of coaches without steps.

The recent increase in ticket prices by more than 50 percent
is staggering. A gradual increase would have been more
considerate. Improvement in service is also needed.
