Train kills two

BEKASI: A 60-year-old woman and her four-year-old
granddaughter were killed at a train crossing in Wanasari village
in Cibitung, Bekasi on Wednesday.

The deceased, named as Saodah Priyatnaningsih and her
granddaughter Pratiwi, were residents of the Villa Mutiara Jaya
housing complex.

The pair were walking along railway tracks when they were
struck by the train traveling toward Jakarta. The train did not
even stop, said witness Sudayat, a resident.

The bodies were later taken to Swadana Hospital in Bekasi for
an autopsy while the case was reported to Bekasi Police. --
