Traffic in Gajah Mada diverted

JAKARTA (JP): Traffic passing along Jl. Hayam Wuruk and Jl. Gajah Mada in Central Jakarta will be temporarily rerouted on Thursday evening due to the construction of a pedestrian bridge in front of Duta Merlin complex on Jl. Gajah Mada.

According to the City Traffic and Land Transportation Agency (DLLAJ), while the project is taking place on Jl. Gajah Mada, the street will be closed and traffic passing along the street from Jl. Majapahit heading to Kota area will be temporarily directed to Jl. Hayam Wuruk and will then enter Jl. Gajah Mada again starting at the Zainul Arifin intersection.

While Jl. Hayam Wuruk is closed, traffic passing along the street from the Kota area heading to Jl. Majapahit will be temporarily directed to Jl. Gajah Mada, starting from the Zainul Arifin intersection.

The temporary arrangement will begin at 10 p.m. on Thursday and last until 5 a.m. on Friday. (06)
