Traders' home destroyed by fire

TANGERANG: Fire burned down a rented house on Jl. Oto Iskandar
Dinata, Grendeng subdistrict in Karawaci, Tangerang, where four
families who operated stalls in Grendeng traditional market
lived.

None of the house occupants were injured in the fire, which
started at about 1 p.m. on Thursday, Tempointeraktif.com
reported.

Neighbors attempted to put out the fire, fearing that it would
spread to their houses.

"All my belongings, documents and money have gone up in
smoke," said Deni, one of the occupants. -- JP
