Toyota-Astra launches new car

JAKARTA (JP): PT Toyota-Astra Motor announced on Wednesday the
launch of its new Camry sedan into the local market.

The company said on Wednesday the new car comes in two models,
the 2,200cc engine capacity Camry GLX with four cylinders and 16
valves DOHC system and the 3,000cc engine capacity Camry Grande
with six cylinders and 24 valves DOHC system.

Both the Camry GLX and the Camry Grande are equipped with,
among others, an Antilock Braking System and dual airbags to
protect the driver and passenger in the front seat during a car
crash.

The Camry sedan, which the company claimed as a hot seller in
the United States during the last three years, is offered at an
on the road price tag of between Rp 295 million and Rp 383
