JAKARTA (JP): People planning to holiday in Indonesia are now
able to look for tourist information and make hotel reservations
on the Internet at a new PT Bali Info Iklanindo web-site.

Company director Esther Wijayanti said her company, nicknamed
Bali Online, provided information on tourist attractions, 42
hotels and three Indonesian travel agents.

People all over the world can access http://www.indo.com and
get information on the country's tourist destinations or make
reservation for the hotels and travel agents, she said.

She said Bali Online, set up in November 1995, would not
hamper travel agents' business. "People intending to join tours
in Indonesia are still required to deal directly with the
agencies."

Bali Online recorded 733,000 hits last month, Esther said.
