Total signs labor agreement
JAKARTA (JP): France-based oil and gas company Total Indonesie said it had signed a Collective Labor Agreement with its workers, grouped under the National Labor Union-Total Indonesie.
It said the agreement, which was signed on Aug. 28, was expected to enhance the sense of responsibility, trust and positive cooperation between the management and workers.
The company started operations here in 1968 as a production sharing contractor of state-owned oil and gas firm Pertamina with its operational area in East Mahakam, Kalimantan. (cst)
