Top teams reach volleyball finals

JAKARTA (JP): Angel Bertha Kaize and Risma of National Team 1 defeated the West Nusa Tenggara pairing of Tri Siwi and Henny 15- 7 in the semifinal of the women's national beach volleyball championships at Senayan sports complex yesterday.

Angel and Risma will face Elizabeth and Betrix of National Team 2 in today's final, The latter pair defeated National Team 3 15-8.

In the men's event, Irilkhun and Agus Salim of National Team 1 beat Alpinus and Roy Nanlohy of National Team 3 15-6 to set up a final with National Team 2, who won out 15-6 in their clash with National Team 4.

Fifteen teams entered the championships which started last Wednesday. (yan)
