Too many ads

I would like to thank Indosiar for the live telecast of the long-awaited Tyson-Holyfield fight. However, I would like to mention that it was very disappointing in terms of the frequency in which the advertisements were shown. Even interview with Tyson after the end of the fight was abruptly cut.

I do agree that TV stations require sponsors to cover the costs, but cutting (interrupting) replays and comments from commentators (directly from Las Vegas) in between the rounds, especially in a sport like boxing, is not digestible for sports- loving fans.

I have decided never to buy Extra Joss, not to open any account or deal with Bank Nisp, not to eat Kacang Garuda, Kopiko, etc. I do not use sarung. Otherwise, I would have decided never to purchase sarung made by Cap Mangga.

The advertisements could have been more effective by way of moving text at the bottom of the screen. The sponsors could mention that this uninterrupted live telecast has been sponsored by so and so. I presume that my other sports-loving friends will agree with me. Advertisers, please try to understand consumers.
