Toddler injured in grenade blast

JAMBI, Jambi: A grenade exploded in Jambi municipality on Tuesday
afternoon, injuring a four-year-old boy.

The accident occurred as scores of toddlers and children were
playing in a field in Legok subdistrict, Jambi municipality.

Without warning an explosion was heard in a nearby garbage
can. A piece of shrapnel from the grenade hit the boy, identified
as Indra, in the stomach.

The boy is being treated at the hospital, and the police are
investigating the incident. -- JP
