TNT opens depot in Serang

JAKARTA (JP): PT TNT Indonesia, an express distribution and logistics company, had opened new depot at Cikande Industrial Estate in Serang, West Java, in a bid to expand its market to the nearby coverage area.

Company director Collin Moran said on Tuesday that the new depot would bring earlier delivery to customers, with drop off and collection services through direct calls.

"(The new branch) will bring us closer to our customers with greater flexibility in collecting the cargo and improvement in export transit time", he said.

TNT is a Netherland-based global express service company with 969 hubs and branches in 60 countries, which distributes 2.1 million documents, parcels and freights each week to 200 countries around the world. (07)
