TIKI service very disappointing
On Sept. 28, 2002, I send a very important document to Ketapang, West Kalimantan, using the courier service of TIKI Duren Tiga branch office, Pancoran, South Jakarta. TIKI promised the document would arrive at its destination at the latest on Oct. 3.
Unfortunately, 10 days after the dispatch date, the document had yet to arrive in Ketapang. I reported this to TIKI's Duren Tiga branch office.
I was shocked when I was told that the document had yet to be sent to Ketapang as the Ketapang office had closed down.
I was really disappointed as TIKI had not contacted me about this matter. They simply gave an excuse that they were too busy and promised to reimburse me.
What TIKI should realize is that in this situation I have sustained losses because a very important document failed to arrive at its destination on time. As a provider of a public service, TIKI should display a more professional attitude toward its customers.
