Three suspects reconstruct attack

AMBON, Maluku: Three suspects in an attack on a Mobile Brigade
police post on Loki island in Maluku reconstructed the crime on
Monday.

The suspects -- Abdulah Umamit, alias Dullah, Zainudin Nasir,
alias Nurdin, alias Safni, alias Weljon, and Asep Djaja, alias
Aji alias, Dahlan -- reconstructed the May attack that left seven
people dead, including five Mobile Brigade personnel.

Six other suspects -- Ustad Arzad, alias Asadulah, Jodi, Abu
Harun, Abu Zar, Muklis and Andi -- remain on the run.

Sr. Comr. Bambang Hermanu of the Maluku Police said officers
had completed their investigation of the three suspects and would
soon send their case files to prosecutors.

"This reconstruction is simply to complete the case files and
the evaluation process of the investigation," Bambang said. -- JP
