Three killed in car crash

KENDAL, Central Java: Three people were killed and seven others injured in a traffic accident in Waleri, Kendal, Thursday night.

Witnesses said that a Semarang-bound passenger bus from Jakarta was trying to overtake a car when it lost control and hit an Isuzu van coming from the opposite direction. The victims were all passengers of the van.

The passenger bus sped on in the direction of Semarang. Police are still investigating the accident. (har/14)
