Three-in-one bike riders die in crash

SEMARANG: Three high school students died yesterday afternoon
after their motorcycle slammed into a mahogany tree.

According to witnesses, the three teenagers, students at the
Muhammadiyah technical high school in the Boja village, were
speeding as they rode on a single motorcycle from school.

As they came to a narrow bend, they lost control and ran into
the tree. All three died instantly.

A man standing nearby was also hurt as the motorcycle hurled
across and hit him after the initial impact. He is reported to be
in a stable condition. (har/mds)
