Three die in accidents

SEMARANG: Three people died and 18 were injured in two separate accidents here on Saturday, Antara reported.

The first accident took place in Secang, Magelang, Central Java. Two people died and 15 others were seriously injured when the Ramayana passenger bus collided with a trailer.

The second accident was in Tegowanu, Grobogan, and involved a Sedayu passenger bus and trailer. One died and three others were seriously injured then.

Police are investigating both accidents. (swe)
