Three die from homemade cocktail

SEMARANG: Three men died and two others were hospitalized after drinking alcohol mixed with soft drinks in Ngrampal village, Sragen district on Monday night.

Central Java Police spokesman Lt. Col. M. Ramlie identified the dead on Tuesday as Budi Widoyo, 22, Mulyadi, 21, and Yoyok, 20.

"They were poisoned by the drink mix. The other two, Sugiyo and Widodo, are being treated at Sragen Hospital," Ramlie said. (har/edt)
