Thieves steal Rp 70 million
JAKARTA (JP): Thieves broke into secondary bank BPR Purna Loka
Bhakti, Bekasi, during the weekend and took Rp 70 million in cash
and other bank credential letters, police said.
The Pondok Gede police said the robbery, which was notified on
Saturday morning, might have been carried out by more than one
person.
A police investigation has showed that the burglars came into
the bank through its restroom behind the building, the morning
daily Suara Karya reported.
Also during the weekend, a 20-inch Sony TV was stolen from the
company director's house at Jl. Kebon Sirih here on Saturday.
