Thieves make off with cash and gold
JAKARTA (JP): A gang of eight thieves broke into a store on Jl. Kemal Jaya in Tegal Alur, West Jakarta, on Monday and made off with four kilograms of gold, Rp 244 million in cash and some documents.
Kalideres police are still investigating the case, which could involve a security guard who was absent that night.
The store owner, Yun Hoo, 51, a resident of Villa Bandara, west of Jakarta, was not in the store, when the thieves pried the door open with a crowbar around 3 a.m. and took the cash and valuables.
