The Jakarta Post, in cooperation with the Hong Kong Tourism Board (HKTB), invites you to take part in the "2005 Shopper of The Year Contest" quiz.
Send your essay about Hong Kong and you will have the chance to be a winner. If you are selected, you will spend four days and three nights from July 18 to July 22, 2005 in Hong Kong to shop and experience Hong Kong.
At the main event of the "2005 Shopper of The Year Contest", you will spend HK$3000, on various fashion and beauty products, jewelry and watches, electronics, and Chinese traditions.
The excitement does not stop there. The winner will be pampered by various prizes, which include:
-Cathay Pacific Jakarta - Hong Kong - Jakarta tickets for two people, economy class
-Hotel and accommodation for two people, for five days and four nights
-Departure Tax for two people
-Airport tax for two people
-Airport Transfer (Airport - Hotel - Airport)
-Souvenirs from Hong Kong Tourism Board
Just send in your essay about Hong Kong. The criteria is: 1.The writing should be a short essay, on half an A4 page. 2.The essay must be written in English and be as unique as possible. 3.There are two alternative themes for the essay:
If you got the chance to shop in Hong Kong, where would you want to shop?
If you got the chance to shop in Hong Kong, what kinds of products would you buy? 4 The essay may be handwritten or typed. 5. The essay must be submitted by June 25, 2005, at the latest.

Contest Rules :
-Contestant must be female
-Contestant must be an Indonesian citizen
-Aged between 20 and 35 years
-Still working
-The winner (one person) will get the chance to go to Hong Kong to participate in the "2005 Shopper of the Year Contest" together with a female companion
-The winner and her companion must be available for the trip to Hong Kong from July 18 to July 22, 2005
-The winner will be accompanied by one of the PR consultants of Hong Kong Tourism Board and the trip will be broadcast by one of Jakarta's private TV stations.
-The winner and companion will depart from Jakarta.
-The prize cannot be cashed nor transferred to another party.
-The winner and her companion must have passports valid at least until January 2006.
Particulars beyond the Committee's Responsibility
-Transportation to Jakarta for the winner from outside Jakarta
-Passport administration fee for the winner and her companion
-Activities outside the committee's program
-Other expenses such as: Travel insurance, travel documents and taxes, excess baggage, mini bar consumption, laundry, telephone calls, ground transportation, etc. during the period of stay in Hong Kong.
