Texmaco's sales up 98%

JAKARTA (JP): Publicly listed engineering company PT Texmaco
Perkasa Engineering recorded an 98 percent increase in net sales
to Rp 276.7 billion (US$104.41 million) in the first semester
this year from Rp 139.7 billion in the same period last year.

The company said yesterday net profit rose to Rp 51.8 billion
in the first semester this year from Rp 20 billion in the same
period last year.

The company attributed the high growth to increased sales from
textile machinery and heavy fabrication divisions.

Texmaco has four business divisions including textile
machinery, heavy engineering and fabrication, machine tools and
automotive components.
