Texmaco pays dividends

JAKARTA (JP): PT Texmaco Perkasa Engineering, a textile
manufacturer, announced yesterday that it will pay dividends of
Rp 50 per share (2.1 U.S. cents), with a dividend payout ratio of
45 percent.

President Marimutu Ganesan said that Texmaco's net profits
rose from Rp 19 billion in 1994 to Rp 27 billion last year, while
its net sales increased from Rp 83 billion to Rp 168 billion.

For the first quarter of this year, the company booked Rp 53
billion in net sales and Rp 9 billion in net profit.

Meanwhile, PT Texmaco Jaya announced that it will also pay
dividends of Rp 50 per share with a dividend payout ratio of 43
percent.

For the first quarter of this year, its net sales reached Rp
109 billion while its net profit was recorded at Rp 14 billion.
