JAKARTA: This year's Terry Fox Run, which is aimed at raising funds to fight cancer, is scheduled to take place on Nov. 4.

There will be two routes, five kilometers and 10 kilometers, which will both start at 6:30 a.m. from the Regent Jakarta situated on Jl. Rasuna Said, South Jakarta.

The event is being held by the hotel in collaboration with the Indonesian Cancer Foundation, the Embassy of Canada, the Indonesian-Canada Chamber of Commerce and the Canadian Woman's Association.

Donna from the Regent's health center said on Saturday that participants would run along Jl. Sudirman. Those taking the five- kilometer route will turn around at the Semanggi cloverleaf, while those on the 10-kilometers route turn in front of Ratu Plaza.

Participants must enroll first the hotel and pay Rp 30,000. Breakfast and T-shirts will be provided by the organizers.
