Telstra enters Bandung
BANDUNG (JP): PT Jastrindo Dinamika, which operates Telstra Fleetcoms' radio trunking services, has invested US$25 million in telecommunications services in Bandung and Cilegon (West Java), Surabaya (East Java), Semarang (Central Java) and the greater Jakarta area.
Company manager Brendan Cess said here yesterday that his company expected to break even within four years.
Jastrindo, one of the six firms licensed by the government to run radio trunking services, launched its radio trunking service here yesterday.
Cess said the service would soon also be available in Cirebon, also in West Java. (17/icn)
