Telkomvision's service
In response to the opinion published on this subject on Oct. 13, 2003 I must say that I and many other residents of the Pavilion Apartments are in total agreement. I have subscribed to Telkomvision now since it was installed in the Pavilion Apartments in March of this year and have had nothing but problems ever since. I have been attempting to call many people from Telkomvision regarding the discontinuation of Star Sports and Electronics Sports Program Network (ESPN) and have never been successful in my attempts.
The customer service at this company is the poorest of any service provider I have ever dealt with. Still they advertise that they offer Star Sports and ESPN as part of their package. However, they have not been available since earlier this year.
I understand that they have a contractual dispute with the content provider that means that they have not paid their bill to the content provider and therefore the content provider has shut off their supply. We now have another option at the Pavilion Apartments and every resident I talk to all agree that they will be canceling their Telkomvision subscription and moving across to Kablevision now available. This reflects the absolutely disgraceful lack of professionalism displayed by Telkomvision. Hopefully Kablevision will be a much more professional organization.
