Telkom, explain yourself!

I am writing out of anger, as it seems impossible to be given any clear information from Telkom, whether it be from their employees or management.

Telkom Net are supposed to provide Internet connections, but the connection is down almost every week. When you call their hotline number (08001 467 826), they usually do not know what to do, claim that they have reported your problem and ask you to wait patiently. But how long are you expected to wait?

I would expect a problem to be fixed within a day. But today is the last straw! It has been down for four days now. When you call the number to complain, you are lucky when they bother to pick up the phone (if it is not lunchtime, or a coffee break, or Saturday, Sunday or ...). When you vent your frustration, they just hang up the phone, which is just an easy way to avoid the problem.

I understand that a professional supplier can have technical problems. But, why are the problems so regular? Why do they not inform their clients? How come they are allowed to keep their clients hostage for several days?

Is it acceptable for them to hang up instead of answering clients' questions? Do they know the meaning of customer service?

As you can see I have many questions...but not the answers.

Is there anyone who could answer these questions please? I would appreciate an answer.
