Telkom, Descartes team up

JAKARTA (JP): State-owned telecommunications company PT Telekomunikasi Indonesia (Telkom) will collaborate with Descartes System Groups (Descartes) in building a high-performance logistics network to improve its customer services.

Under the cooperation agreement signed on Friday, Telkom will utilize Decartes' technology, called DeliveryNet, to rapidly connect suppliers, carriers and customers to one technology-based network in its business-to-business (B2B) e-Commerce Business Unit

Telkom said that the connection technology was crucial in helping it better manage shipments, inventory and customer service.(03)
