Telephone

From Neraca

Telkom has been very helpful in providing the public with
telephones. I am very grateful for this.

In Lenteng Agung district, southern Jakarta, in front of the
campus of Sekolah Tinggi Ilmu Komunikasi, there are three public
telephone booths.

Unfortunately they have not been working for weeks now
although the Telkom workers who gather the coins from the phone
boxes must know about this.

These public telephones have been a great help to the
community in Lenteng Agung and we would like to see them repaired
as soon as possible.

Another thing I would like to ask is whether or not a
telephone can be used as a source of income? A shop near here,
charges Rp 1,000 for a five minute call. The usual charge is Rp
100 per dial but I don't know how long you can speak for this
charge.
