Teachers take part in language course
UJUNGPANDANG, South Sulawesi: Twenty-nine Australian teachers are taking part in a short course at the Institute of Teaching Training (IKIP) in Ujungpandang, an official said yesterday.
The language teachers are expected to use the course to improve their skills in teaching the language at Australian primary schools.
"This is the second training for us following the recent agreement between IKIP Ujungpandang and La Trobe University," said the institute's spokesman M. Amin yesterday as quoted by Antara.
The teachers are divided into three groups and they are given an opportunity to visit schools in the city.
The training will end next week. (prb)
