Tangerang gets new police chief

TANGERANG (JP): City Police Chief, Maj. Gen. Hamami Nata, installed Lt. Col. Aryanto Boedihardjo yesterday as the new chief of the Tangerang police precinct, replacing Lt. Col. Iman Haryatna.

Aryanto was former head of the Lido police school in Sukabumi, West Java and used to work at the traffic police directorate at the Surabaya police headquarters.

Iman, who led the Tangerang police precinct for one year, will be assigned as head of the Central Jakarta police precinct. (41/hhr)
