Tangerang Center to be built in Serpong

TANGERANG: The Tangerang Regency Administration plans to build the Tangerang Center in Serpong district to accommodate and promote products of small and medium enterprises.

"The Tangerang Center will be provided for small and medium enterprises that want to promote their products," said head of the Regency Trade and Industry Agency Tjetje Syamas on Wednesday.

He said that large enterprises that wanted to use the center as a place to promote their industrial products would also be welcomed.

The construction work is planned to begin early next year.

Syamas refused to mention the allocated budget for the construction nor the exact location in Serpong.

He said that the administration has urged large trade centers including Lippo Supermal, Bumi Serpong Damai Plaza, Bintaro plaza, Giant and WTC Matahari to also build partnerships with small and medium-sized enterprises. -- JP
