Swiss airline to be called 'Swiss'
BASEL, Switzerland: Switzerland's revamped national airline will be called "Swiss", the company announced here on Thursday, ending weeks of speculation over the new name and look.
Crossair Chief Executive Officer Andre Dose unveiled the highly-anticipated name and logo of the airline at a packed press conference here.
Swiss will take up its activities on March 31 2002 when the summer time table enters into force, he told journalists.
