Suspected dealers arrested
BOGOR: The police arrested two alleged drug dealers -- one of them an ex-convict -- in a house in Ciherang village, Darmaga district, Bogor regency, on Thursday and confiscated one kilogram of marijuana.
The suspects were identified as house owner M. Nur, 43, and Hengky Pritani, 26, a resident of Citeureup hamlet in Kutamukti village of Rengas Dengklok district in Kerawang regency.
Nur was grading the marijuana while Hengky was sitting on the verandah of the house when the police arrived at about 1 p.m. and arrested them, according to Comr. Restra Gunawan from the Bogor police resort.
Nur reportedly admitted that he had been trafficking since 1999. He has been jailed several times and was released from prison earlier this year.
He said he bought the marijuana from a man called Jimi in Senen, Central Jakarta, for Rp 220,000 per ounce.--JP
