Susilo, Xanana in Bali for talks

JAKARTA: President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono will hold on
Tuesday the first bilateral talks with East Timor President
Xanana Gusmao since taking office.

The meeting will take place at the Tampak Siring Presidential
Palace in Bali, where Susilo will also host a dinner for Xanana.

"This is the first meeting to review bilateral relations
between the two countries and identify what should be done to
maintain good ties," Indonesian Minister of Foreign Affairs
Hassan Wirayuda said on Monday.

The talks will take place during Xanana's three-day visit to
Indonesia. -- JP
