Susilo grilled over asset declaration
JAKARTA: Coordinating Minister for Political and Security Affairs Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono was questioned on Monday by the Public Servants' Wealth Audit Commission (KPKPN) over the comprehensiveness of his asset declaration to the commission.
KPKPN deputy chairman Muchayat said after the questioning that there was nothing suspicious about Susilo's declaration and that it "needs no further investigation by the KPKPN".
"The clarification of the assets reported by Pak Susilo has been completed and we have found nothing suspicious about it.
"He (Susilo) has also signed the declaration after making today's clarifications," Muchayat told reporters.
Susilo came to the KPKPN office on Monday to clarify the Rp 3.5 billion stated in his wealth declaration. He submitted the report on July 23, 2001. --JP
