Surjadi parties with staff

JAKARTA (JP): Jakarta Governor Surjadi Soedirdja attended a
family outing with 70,000 staff members at the Monas Park in
Central Jakarta Sunday.

The gathering was to mark Jakarta's 470th anniversary and
Indonesia's 52nd independence day.

Surjadi said the gathering was useful to refresh the staff and
their families, as well as strengthen ties between the staff.

Games and drawing contests as well as traditional cultural
performances such as lenong and jaipong were held to mark the
occasion. (04)
