Sunjoto chairs Apparel group

JAKARTA (JP): Sunjoto Tanudjaja, an executive of publicly-
listed PT Great River, was elected new president of the
International Apparel Federation in a recent meeting held in
Istanbul, Turkey.

Sunjoto, who is currently the vice chairman of the Indonesian
Textile Association, will lead the federation for a one-year
term.

The International Apparel Federation was established in 1976
and now has 31 member countries, including founders United States
and Japan, representing 42,000 garment producers. (alo)
