Summary of PNBK's platform

The PNBK will struggle to realize the ideals contained in the
declaration of independence of Aug. 17 1945:
o To defend the independence and unity of the Unitary Republic of
Indonesia based on Pancasila (the state ideology) and the 1945
Constitution; a nation that is politically sovereign,
economically self-reliant, and culturally distinct;
o To strive for Indonesian socialism, namely a marhaenist society
characterized by better welfare, education;
o To strive for a new world order that is safe, orderly,
prosperous and harmonious based on independence, genuine peace,
and social justice.
