Submarines purchase

The origin of two submarines that the Navy plans to purchase was incorrectly stated in the May 24 edition of the Post. The submarines are, in fact, made in South Korea. We also misquoted Navy Chief of Staff Adm. Bernard Kent Sondakh as saying the Navy has 166 helicopters. He actually referred to 122 warships. We apologize for the errors.
