Students nabbed for alcohol

PURWOKERTO, Central Java: Eight high school students in
Banyumas, Central Java, were arrested by local police for
consuming alcohol at a marketplace on Saturday.

Banyumas Police chief Comr. Imam Basuki said that the
teenagers were arrested following tips from local residents.

"We also confiscated some bottles of liquor of various type.
We invited their parents and warned the students not to repeat
their actions in the future or they will go to jail."

According to Imam, his men also confiscated a total of 2,200
bottles of alcoholic drinks of various brands sold in the market.
